The highly anticipated series between the Carolina Hurricanes and Tampa Bay Lightning is set to kick off Sunday.

The Lightning took on the Florida Panthers in round one dispatching them in four games. At 5×5, the Lightning controlled 45.33 percent of the shot attempts and 46.75 of the expected goals but controlled 54.55 percent of the goals scored.

The Carolina Hurricanes, meanwhile, took out the Nashville Predators last night in game six of the series. They, however, only controlled 51.85 percent of the goal share in what was a tight series.
