Samuel Fagemo, Lias Andersson, Philippe Myers headline October 1 waivers
Los Angeles Kings forwards Samuel Fagemo, Montreal Canadiens forward Lias Andersson, and Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Philippe Myers were among the massive crop of 45 players placed on waivers by NHL teams on Sunday.
Only one player was claimed out of the 24 waived on Saturday: Lassi Thomson, a 23-year-old right-handed defenseman who went from the Ottawa Senators to the Anaheim Ducks.
It remains to be seen if any of the nearly four dozen players waived on Sunday will be picked up. CapFriendly posted the full list to their Twitter account:

Fagemo, 23, collected 23 goals and 32 points in 56 games with the AHL’s Ontario Reign in the 2022–23 regular season. The 6′ left wing has appeared in 13 career NHL games with the Kings, scoring two goals and one assist.
Andersson, 24, is a veteran of 110 NHL games with the Kings and New York Rangers. The former No. 7 overall pick racked up 59 points in 67 AHL games with the Reign in 2022–23.
Myers, 26, is a 6’6″ right-handed defenseman who has appeared in 153 career NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers, Nashville Predators, and Lightning. He’s set to make $1.4 million in the 2023–24 season.
