The Seattle Kraken have reportedly selected Calle Jarnkrok from the Nashville Predators in the expansion draft.

Jarnkrok, 29, has spent his full eight year NHL career with the Nashville Predators scoring 94 goals and 211 points in that time. Known largely as a defensive specialist, his offensive game has come around in the last two years seeing him score 62 points in 113 games with the Preds.

Originally drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 2010 draft, he never played for them and was traded to Nashville alongside a 2nd round pick and Patrick Eaves for David Legwand.
