The Seattle Torrent announced Wednesday they re-signed defenders Aneta Tejralova and Emily Brown, as well as forward Theresa Schafzahl, to two-year contracts through the 2027-28 season.

Tejralova had two goals and six assists for eight points, averaging 19:09 of ice time in 23 games with the Torrent in 2025-26. She has five goals and 21 assists for 26 points in 76 games with Seattle and the Ottawa Charge. She joined the Torrent after they took her with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2025 PWHL Expansion Draft.

Brown had four assists and averaged 18:15 of ice time in 30 games with Seattle last season. The Blaine, Minn., native has two goals and 10 assists for 12 points in 83 career games with the Torrent and Boston Fleet.

As for Schafzahl, she finished the 2025-26 season with four goals and 11 assists for 15 points, split between the Fleet and Torrent after being traded midway through the year. In three PWHL seasons, she has 10 goals and 16 assists for 26 points in 80 career games.

In their inaugural PWHL season, Seattle went 8-1-5-16 with 31 points, finishing last in the league standings. They recorded the second-fewest goals for (64) and giving up the most goals against (92).

Alex Carpenter led the team in goals and points with 12 and 20, respectively. Julia Gosling led the team in assists with 14.

Corinne Schroeder posted a 5-8-1-3 record with a .915 save percentage and 2.56 goals against average. Hannah Murphy posted a 4-8-0-0 mark with a .908 SV% and 2.87 GAA.
