The St. Louis Blues will be changing up their uniforms in 2025-26.

The Blues unveiled a new look on Tuesday morning, with changes coming to their jersey and logo for next season. The logo and jersey feature a modernized inspiration from the uniforms worn by the team during its inception in 1967 and ran until 1984 before the club opted to use a darker colour. The Blues also brought back this uniform for the 2017 Winter Classic.

The Blues released a statement on their website with a video breaking down the design elements of the new look.

“The heritage jersey reflects the rich, compelling history of the St. Louis Blues, and it is one of the most classic jerseys in the National Hockey League,” said Blues chairman Tom Stillman in the statement. “The response of Blues fans to this jersey has been overwhelming, and we are pleased to share the updated versions with our supporters everywhere.”

“Evolving one of the most iconic marks in our sport was a responsibility our brand team and equipment staff undertook with great pride over years of collaboration,” said Blues president and CEO of business operations Chris Zimmerman. “Playing in three Winter Classics gave us the opportunity to explore elements of our past that produced remarkable designs, validating the strong affinity for heritage blue becoming our primary team color shared by our fans and players. The evolution of the Blue Note, and development of additional brand marks, provides our fans new ways to express and celebrate their support for the St. Louis Blues.”

The Blues also broke down the new jersey and logo in the statement, going into detail on the jerseys, primary colours, blue note, fan feedback, modernization, regional pride, tertiary marks (the fleur, STL, and river music), wordmarks, and blues font. According to the team, it was a three year process from concept to completion.
