After dispatching the Colorado Avalanche in six games in their second-round matchup, the Vegas Golden Knights will move on to play the Montreal Canadiens in the Stanley Cup semifinals starting with Game 1 on Monday night. And Vegas now sits as the betting favorite on the odds to win the Stanley Cup at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

The Golden Knights are the +115 favorites on the latest Stanley Cup odds at sportsbooks, with all four teams now set for the semifinals. While Vegas takes on Montreal in the NHL’s final four action, the Tampa Bay Lightning will be matched up with the New York Islanders.

Vegas rolled over the Avalanche in Game 6 at home on Thursday night, winning 6-3 as -135 betting favorites in an OVER result for totals bettors. Colorado had won the first two games of that second-round series before the Golden Knights stormed back with four straight victories. Max Pacioretty and Alex Pietrangelo led the way on Thursday night with a goal and an assist each, while Marc-Andre Fleury made 30 saves on 33 Colorado shots in the victory.

The Canadiens, meanwhile, are the +1200 longshots on the latest Stanley Cup futures despite their sweep of the Winnipeg Jets in their second-round matchup. Montreal had to make a comeback from down 3-1 in their first-round series with the rival Toronto Maple Leafs, but then were able to kept that momentum in winning four straight games against the Jets.

Montreal was just 24-21-11 during the regular season for 59 points; Vegas put up 82 points.

Meanwhile, the Lightning are just behind the Golden Knights at +150 odds to win the Stanley Cup this spring, with the Islanders farther back at +575 on those futures. Tampa Bay got past the Florida Panthers in six games in their first-round matchup, then needed just five games to dispatch the Carolina Hurricanes in the second round. Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy turned in a 29-save shutout effort in the team’s 2-0 clinching win over Carolina in Game 5.

And the Islanders are coming off a six-game series win over the Boston Bruins, after also needing six games to knock out the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round. New York finished the regular season with a 32-17-7 record for 71 points, while Tampa Bay went 36-17-3 for 75 points. Their series gets underway on Sunday afternoon, with Tampa Bay the Game 1 home favorite on the NHL odds board.
