The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without forward Brayden Point for 4-6 weeks, the club announced Tuesday.

The 25-year-old center was injured Saturday night when he crashed into the boards on a partial breakaway. He came up favoring his left side.

Details of the injury aren’t yet known, but the team says Point is dealing with an upper-body injury.

Point has appeared in 16 games for the Lightning this year scoring seven goals and 13 points.
