Tanner Laczynski signs three-year extension with Golden Knights

The Vegas Golden Knights signed forward Tanner Laczynski to a three-year, $2.7-million contract that will have a cap hit of $900,000 through the 2028-29 season.

Laczynski will make $850,000 in the first season, $900,000 in the second and $905,000 in the third. PuckPedia was the first to report the deal, then it was later confirmed by Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman.
In 10 games with the Golden Knights last season, Laczynski had five assists and averaged 10:46 of ice time. He spent the majority of the 2025-26 campaign with the AHL’s Henderson Silver Knights, where he scored 22 goals and added 42 assists for 64 points in 62 games.
In 56 career NHL games with the Knights and Philadelphia Flyers, Laczynski has recorded three goals and seven assists for 10 points. Across parts of six AHL seasons, the 29-year-old has 68 goals and 107 assists for 175 points in 196 career regular-season games.

Laczynski, a native of Minooka, Ill., was a sixth-round pick for the Flyers at the 2016 NHL Entry Draft. He spent four seasons playing college hockey with The Ohio State University, where he recorded 48 goals and added 95 assists for 143 points in 138 career games.
In his sophomore campaign, he recorded 17 goals and 30 assists for 47 points in 41 games, all career highs during his time with the Buckeyes.
He represented the U.S. at the 2017 World Junior Championships, where he scored a goal and assist for two points, helping the team win a gold medal.
