Taylor Hall and the Boston Bruins are closing in on a four-year contract

It looks like Taylor Hall is going to remain a member of the Boston Bruins.
According to Frank Seravalli, the Bruins are closing in on a contract with their trade deadline acquisition and the expectation is that a deal will be signed after the NHL’s roster freeze has been lifted. Seravalli suggests the deal will be around four years worth $6 million annually.
Hearing #NHLBruins have made meaningful progress with pending UFA Taylor Hall.
Expectation is Hall will indeed remain in Boston after the signing moratorium is lifted. Wouldn't be surprised to see a deal in the 4 years x $6 million neighborhood.
Stay tuned. @DFOHockey

Hall inked a one-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres last off-season and scored just two goals and 19 points over 37 games before getting moved to Boston ahead of the trade deadline. In 16 games with Boston, Hall scored eight goals and 14 points, and he added five points in 11 playoff games.
The former Hart Trophy winner could likely command a larger deal on the free-agent market but it makes sense that he wants to stick around and play on a perennial contender. Hall has spent his entire career on bad teams, going from Edmonton, who selected him No. 1 overall in 2010, to New Jersey, and then to Buffalo.
Through his first 10 seasons in the league, Hall made the playoffs only twice. The 2021 playoffs with the Bruins represented the first time one of his teams won a playoff series.
