The internet is ablaze as superstar celebrity couple Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are in attendance at Amerant Bank Arena for Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The “Florida” singer actually made her way to the Sunshine State to see Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers try to push Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers to the brink of elimination.

Swift’s attendance at major sporting events has become a major topic of national discourse since her relationship with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end went public, but she is no stranger to the NHL.

In 2013, while she was touring in support the album Red, a visit to Raleigh, North Carolina featured a photo op with then-Carolina Hurricane Jeff Skinner, who presented her with a jersey with his name on it.

Skinner, of course, is making his Stanley Cup Final debut this evening.

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Swift has frequently attended Predators games at various points, even featuring prominently in a team advertising campaign in 2008.

Swift and Kelce also went viral for an appearance at the 2024 U.S. Open in New York City, and of course, Swift has become a mainstay at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City since 2023.

Though she is not publicly a Panthers fan, another major pop star is, as her peer on the charts in Ariana Grande, a Boca Raton native who has often attended the team’s games over the years.

Regardless of the outcome of Thursday’s game, the Oilers and Panthers will board a flight back to Alberta for Game 5 in Edmonton on Saturday night.

Whether Swift and Kelce will follow them remains to be seen.
