Dube was selected in the second round of the 2016 draft by the Flames with the pick the team acquired from the Dallas Stars as part of the Kris Russell trade.
He played 25 games for Calgary in 2018-19, 45 games for the team in 2019-20, and then broke out as a full-time player in 2021, scoring 11 goals and 22 points over 51 games.
The Flames now only have one more RFA left to sign, defenceman Connor Mackey.
