He then welcomed in Vesa Rantanen from Ilta-Sanomat in Finland. Vesa covers sports in Finland and talked about the impact that the Russian war on Ukraine on both life in Finland and hockey. Jokerit has pulled out of the KHL and that’s a result of their ties to Russian money. The fallout from this is very deep with plenty of deep connections to the hockey world.
