The NHL has set the 2021 Draft Lottery odds

The 2021 NHL regular season is finally over.
The Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks wrapped up their death march on Wednesday meaning the standings for the season have been finalized. We now know the odds for the 2021 Draft Lottery, which will take place on June 2.
The odds for the first draw, which determines who selects first overall, are as follows…
Buffalo Sabres – 16.6%
Anaheim Ducks – 12.1%
Seattle Kraken – 10.3%
New Jersey Devils – 10.3%
Columbus Blue Jackets – 8.5%
Detroit Red Wings – 7.6%
San Jose Sharks – 6.7%
Los Angeles Kings – 5.8%
Vancouver Canucks – 5.4%
Ottawa Senators – 4.5%
Arizona Coyotes – 3.1%*
Chicago Blackhawks – 2.7%
Calgary Flames – 2.2%
Philadelphia Flyers – 1.8%
Dallas Stars – 1.4%
New York Rangers – 1.0%
This year’s lottery will be different than in previous years. There will now only be two draws rather than three, so the Buffalo Sabres can’t drop lower than No. 3 overall.
Next year, the NHL will implement two more changes. Teams won’t be able to jump more than 10 spots if they win the lottery and teams won’t be allowed to win the lottery more than twice in a five-year span.
