It’ll be at least another two weeks before Josh Norris re-joins the Ottawa Senators lineup, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun reported Monday.

— Bruce Garrioch (@SunGarrioch) February 7, 2022Norris injured his shoulder Jan. 27th in a game against the Carolina Hurricanes, but has only missed three games with the all-star break. Appearing in 36 games this year, Norris has seen an uptick in his ice time and an uptick in his production.
He’s scored 18 goals so far this season adding on another eight assists.
Norris was injured crashing into the boards after a late first-period collision with Andrei Svechnikov.
Two nights prior to Norris’ injury, Drake Batherson was injured after being hit by Buffalo Sabres goaltender Aaron Dell, who received a three-game suspension.
According to Garrioch, Batherson said he’s hopeful to return to playing in April. His loss is a significant one for the Senators after leading the team in scoring up to this point in the season. He’s played in 31 games this year, scoring 13 goals and a team-high 34 points.
The Senators post-all-star game schedule kicks off with a four-game homestand. They take on the New Jersey Devils tonight, before the Hurricanes, Pittsburgh Penguins and Boston Bruins visit town by Saturday.
