The Seattle Kraken will reportedly be taking Jordan Eberle from the New York Islanders in the expansion draft.

First reported by The Hockey News’ Ryan Kennedy, the report was confirmed by TSN’s Pierre LeBrun.

Eberle, 31, has spent the last four seasons with the New York Islanders. This past year, he scored 17 goals and 31 points in 51 games and has totalled 551 points over this 779 game NHL career.

Orignally drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the first round of the 2008 draft, Eberle has played in 11 NHL season between the two clubs.
