The news comes exactly one month after the team announced on social media that Woll, 27, would be taking a leave of absence to address a personal matter.
Maple Leafs general manager Brad Treliving didn’t go into detail about the cause of Woll’s departure, except to say it’s for a family matter, with no timeline for when he will return.
