Analysis:
TOR 1 is the line to target in this one. Marner and Hyman’s strong numbers together should be boosted by the addition of Tavares. This line will be chalky tonight, but including Hyman should help differentiate your lineup. Matthews’ numbers without Nylander gives the best indication of what to expect from him tonight. The 5v5 matchups are decent but including him in a powerplay stack with TOR 1 is ideal. Kadri was more commonly used in a shutdown role when he played away from Marner last season, which is why those numbers were used.

Analysis:
Washington 1 draws a tough matchup against a low-event Krejci line. It’s probably not worth paying the $8,000 to play Ovie but Connolly offers great punt value at $3,500. The price is right for Boston 1, but they’re locked in a matchup against the defensively-stout Backstrom line. You might be able to get them at relatively-low ownership tonight. Neither of Boston 3 or Washington 3 are worth playing, though Donato could be used in some powerplay stacks.

Analysis:
Calgary 1 offers solid value in a strong matchup tonight. Mark Giordano is a great addition to any Calgary 1 stack. Calgary 2 should clean up against the bottom nine of the Canucks, which means a five or six man Calgary stack is more than playable. Neither third lines are worth consideration.

| DEF: 30 SCA, 64 CA, 13 HDCA | DEF: N/A |
Analysis:
San Jose 1 should dodge Anaheim 1 at 5v5 and do well against their second and third lines. The assist-heavy Thornton helps keep them moderately priced. The $31,100 it costs to stack the full powerplay on DraftKings is worth the price of admission. They will be chalky tonight given all the hype surrounding the team and they are facing John Gibson in net, so buyer beware. Anaheim 1 draws a tough first matchup against San Jose 2 but offers decent value and should be somewhat of a contrarian play, giving them GPP appeal.
Suggested Stacks
- 1. Toronto 1
- 2. Calgary 1
- 3. San Jose 1
