Canucks’ Brock Boeser leaves game against Blues with undisclosed injury

The Vancouver Canucks announced on social media that forward Brock Boeser left Thursday’s game against the St. Louis Blues with an undisclosed injury and would not return.

Boeser left the ice in just the first minute of the game after taking a point shot from defenseman Elias Pettersson. He was helped down the tunnel towards the Canuck locker room and did not return.

Through 10 games this season, the 28-year-old Boeser has four goals and two assists for six points. Now in his 10th NHL campaign, the Burnsville, Minn., native has 208 goals and 232 assists for 440 points in 563 career regular-season games.
Boeser has also scored 11 goals and recorded 12 assists for 23 points in 29 career Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Taken No. 23 overall by the Canucks in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft, Boeser spent two seasons playing NCAA college hockey at the University of North Dakota. In 74 games, the right-handed winger scored 43 goals and recorded 51 assists for 94 points.
Before enrolling in college, the 6-foot-1 Boeser played a season with the USHL’s Waterloo Black Hawks, scoring 35 goals and recording 33 assists for 68 points in 57 games.
Going into Thursday night, the Canucks were 5-6-0 with 10 points through their first 11 games of the 2025-26 regular season. The team has lost four of their last five contests, including a 2-0 defeat at the hands of the New York Rangers Tuesday night.
Forward Conor Garland leads the team in assists and points with eight and 11, respectively. Meanwhile, forward Kiefer Sherwood has the team-lead in goals with six.
