The trade was first reported by Arizona Sports’ John Gambadoro, who also reported the Coyotes are believed to be retaining $1.2-million of Ekman-Larsson’s deal.
Beagle, Eriksson and Roussel all have one year remaining on their contracts and are owed $3m, $6m, and $3m, respectively.
With the salary retained, Ekman-Larsson will be owed $6.05-m AAV with six years remaining on the deal.
Garland, meanwhile, is an RFA and owed a contract. Evolving-Hockey projects the deal to be a four-year contract with an AAV of $4.698-m.
The Canucks will save roughly $1.252-million in cap space through this trade.
