Goldeneyes unveil new jerseys for 2026-27 season

A new look for one of the most intriguing teams in the Professional Women’s Hockey League.
On Wednesday, the Vancouver Goldeneyes unveiled new jerseys ahead of the 2026-27 season, featuring the team’s logo for the first time.
The announcement came inside the Goldeneyes’ home arena, Pacific Coliseum.

The jersey will feature the blue and burnt orange trim that was featured on the Goldeneyes’ inaugural sweaters. They also have V-shaped blocking on the sides, along with “winged stripes” on the arms.
As has become tradition in the PWHL, the team played its first season with just the city name diagonally across the crest. Now, the eagle eye that became the team’s identity ahead of the 2025-26 campaign is at the forefront of Vancouver’s home and away sweaters.
The Goldeneyes are hoping their new look will bring them better luck in their second season in the league. The team had high expectations heading into Year 1, but whether it was a lack of camaraderie or fatigue from the amount of travel, Vancouver struggled to keep up with the top teams in the PWHL, especially away from home. As a result, Vancouver failed to qualify for the Walter Cup Playoffs, finishing sixth with a 9-3-4-14 record and going just 3-1-1-10 on the road. The team fired head coach Brian Idalski after the season, with general manager Cara Gardner Morey taking over as bench boss.
However, the Goldeneyes set themselves up for future success. They earned enough Draft Order Points to clinch the first-overall pick in the 2026 PWHL Draft, with the team taking Patty Kazmaier Award winner and Olympic MVP Caroline Harvey. On top of that, the Goldeneyes have a new front-office leader. Former American Hockey League vice president of hockey operations and governance Alison Izzi was hired as the organization’s new GM last month.
With a restructured roster and an enhanced identity, the Goldeneyes are hoping to challenge for a playoff spot in the new Western Conference.
The Goldeneyes drop the puck on the 2026-27 campaign at home on Dec. 5, taking on the Seattle Torrent.
