The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired LA Kings defenceman Alec Martinez in exchange for two second-round draft picks.

Initially reported by TSN’s Bob McKenzie Tuesday, the deal was made official today.

Martinez, 32, has played his entire 11-year career with the Kings after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2007 draft.

In 41 games this year, the rearguard has scored one goal and another seven assists.
