Sikora was originally taken by the Capitals in the sixth round, 178th overall, of the 2024 NHL Draft. The 20-year-old has exceptional puck control and is tough to get away from the biscuit when he wants it. While he’s only around 6-feet tall, Sikora’s build, weighing close to 200 pounds, makes him a tough body to move. His willingness to play physically makes him a tough player to go up against as well.
Sikora has spent the last two seasons mainly with HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga. This past season, he scored three goals and six assists for nine points in 24 games, adding two more points in 10 playoff games as Třinec reached the finals, ultimately losing to HC Dynamo Pardubice in six games. Sikora’s performance was down slightly from his rookie season in 2024-25, when he totaled 15 points in 34 games.
Over three seasons, the Karvina native appeared in 80 regular-season Extraliga games, scoring 11 goals and 16 assists for 27 points, with another six points in 16 postseason contests. In addition to his league efforts, Sikora also played for the Oceláři in the 2023-24 and 2024-25 Champions Hockey League seasons, though the team was eliminated in the Round of 16 each time.
Along with his play at the club level, Sikora has represented his country on numerous occasions. He captained Czechia to the silver medal at the 2026 IIHF World Junior Championship, scoring nine points in seven games. He also won bronze at the 2025 World Juniors and another silver at the 2023 Hlinka Gretzky Cup.
