Watch: Anaheim Ducks’ Trevor Zegras pulls another Michigan goal

Should we just change his name to Trevor Michigan at this point?
The rookie Anaheim Ducks pivot has perfected the lacrosse-style goal. It may have been originated by Mike Legg at the University of Michigan, but Zegras has used it to perfection at the NHL level enough times that he can stake ownership now.
Zegras did it again Friday night during the Ducks’ 5-0 win over the Arizona Coyotes. Evidently trying to outdo himself, Zegras even deked out teammate Sonny Milano in the process. Milano was a bystander, simply trying to get out of the way while Zegras deftly scooped and shovelled the puck past helpless Coyotes goaltender Karel Vejmelka. Check it out:
Getting goal No. 50 in Game No. 62, Matthews is the fastest in 26 years.
It’s more than just flash and dash for Zegras this season, of course. His 50 points rank second on the Ducks and place him third among NHL rookie scorers this season. His 0.79 points per game sit him first among freshmen.
