On Thursday afternoon the NHL’s 32nd Franchise unveiled their team name, logos and jerseys.

The Seattle Kraken will join the NHL starting in the 2021-22 season and will be the first professional hockey team in Seattle since 1975.
Seattle had a little fun on social media with their Twitter bio, which read: “now that we have a name, we’re strategizing all the ways to draft your favorite player.”
