Frank Seravalli: I have a prediction for Blake Wheeler, it’s not really a bold one but I think it’s an intriguing fit. I talked to Dallas Stars GM Jim Nill the other day and he was saying after the draft that they were working on trying to land a winger, they don’t have that much cap space.

I just think that’s a perfect team for Blake Wheeler to step into Dallas. The pressure will be off a bit and he doesn’t have to be the captain or the focal point of the organisation just come in on a short-term, short-money deal and produce on a team that went to the Western Conference final again.

Mike McKenna: It’s as Jim Nill of a contract as you can imagine, scraps contract in a place that everyone wants to play. Look at Pavelski, he’s been phenomenal there. It would make sense with Wheeler as well but I could also see it making sense for a team like Carolina, I think they’re going to be in the mix here. They need to be, they need scoring.
