Three teams can clinch playoff spots in the NHL today.

The Winnipeg Jets can clinch a post-season spot if they beat the Calgary Flames in regulation. They would be the third North Division team to clinch a spot in the post-season after the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers.

For the Predators and Blues, however, there requires more than just the results of one game.

The Nashville Predators need to defeat the Columbus Blue Jackets tonight in any fashion, and have the Tampa Bay Lightning beat the Dallas Stars in regulation. In the Central Division, the Predators would be the fourth team to clinch after the Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers and Tampa Bay Lightning.

Lastly, for the St. Louis Blues, they need to beat the Anaheim Ducks in any fashion tonight, and have the Arizona Coyotes defeat the L.A. Kings in regulation. They would be the fourth team in the West Division to clinch the playoffs behind the Vegas Golden Knights, Colorado Avalanche and Minnesota Wild.
