Pisani & Kopecky start season on scoring lines

According to Adam Jahns of the Chicago Sun-Times, both Tomas Kopecky and Fernando Pisani will start the season on the Chicago Blackhawks’ top two lines.

Here are the official lines as the defending Stanley Cup Champions take on the Colorado Avalanche:

Tomas Kopecky – Jonathan Toews – Marian Hossa

Fernando Pisani – Patrick Sharp – Patrick Kane

Bryan Bickell – Dave Bolland – Troy Brouwer

Viktor Stalberg – Jake Dowell – Jack Skille

Definitely a far cry from Kris Versteeg, Dustin Byfuglien and company filling out the top lines.  Coming into the season both Bolland and Brouwer looked like excellent candidates to fill the top six but will start the year on a shutdown line.  Something tells me they should get another chance.
