Baertschi (concussion) has been sent back to Vancouver.
Baertschi missed last night’s game in Columbus with a concussion that he suffered on Tuesday. Baertschi returned to Vancouver, which suggests that he could miss the final four games of the Canucks’ road trip. Reid Boucher is expected to remain in the lineup while Baertschi is out.

Baertschi left last night’s loss with a concussion and did not return. Baertschi played just 1:53 before leaving the game following a hit from Cody McLeod. Baertschi will likely miss a couple of games, so expect Reid Boucher to draw into the in Columbus on Thursday.

The Canucks have signed Sven Baertschi to a two-year contract extension worth $3.7 million.
Baertschi, 23, spent the entire 2015-16 season with the Canucks, totalling 15 goals and 13 assists (28 points) in 69 games. He struggled to gain traction in the Flames organization, but seems to have found his stride in Vancouver, earning him $1.85 million per season for the next two years.

Baertschi will make his NHL playoffs debut on Thursday.
Baertschi, 22, was traded from Calgary to Vancouver at the trade deadline. The former 1st round pick, had five assists in 15 games with the Flames and has scored two goals in three games with Vancouver. In the AHL he had 15 goals and 25 assists (40 points) in 51 games between Adirondack and Utica. He will replace Linden Vey and is expected to skate on the Canucks third line.

The Canucks recalled Sven Baertschi from Utica (AHL).
Baertschi, 22, scored seven goals with eight assists (15 points) in 15 games after being acquired by Vancouver at the deadline. Baertschi could get the chance to face his former team in the playoffs after Alex Burrows was taken to the hospital in an ambulance this afternoon.
