Andrej Sustr has been traded to San Jose for Andrew Agozzino.

Sustr had three goals, 11 assists, 41 PIMs and a +8 plus/minus through 51 games with both the Iowa Wild (AHL) and San Diego Gulls (AHL) in 2022-23 and has been traded to San Jose for Andrew Agozzino. The 32-year-old defenseman last played in the NHL in 2021-22, picking up five assists in 23 games with Anaheim.

Sustr has three goals, 11 assists, 41 PIMs, and a +10 plus/minus through 46 games with Iowa (AHL) and San Diego (AHL) and has been recalled Wednesday by Anaheim. The 32-year-old has played in 361 NHL games before this season, and has 11 goals and 69 points.

Sustr signed with the Ducks in 2018, appearing in five games with the Ducks and 39 games with San Diego (AHL). He left for the KHL for a couple of seasons before returning to North America with the Lightning this year. He had one goal in 15 games with Tampa Bay before being waived on Monday.

Sustr registered three goals and 11 assists (14 points) while averaging 17:35 TOI/GM in 80 games this season. The towering defenseman is a solid third-pairing defenseman who isn’t asked to do too much and will be around in Tampa Bay for at least another season.
