Signing
The Flyers have signed 24-year-old free agent center Kyle Flanagan to a one-year contract for the 2013-14 season, according to general manager Paul Holmgren.
Flanagan will be assigned to the Phantoms on a tryout agreement for the rest of the season. The 5-foot-7, 190-pound forward recently completed his senior year at St. Lawrence University. Flanagan scored 15 goals and added 32 assists for 47 points in 35 games this past season while serving as captain of the Saints. He has been named a finalist for the Hobey Baker Award as the top collegiate player for 2012-13.
