Quincey will serve as a healthy scratch on Tuesday.
Quincey has not recorded a point while registering three shots and six hits in his first three games with the Blue Jackets. He will come out of the lineup tonight with Markus Nutivaara (lower-body) set to return to the lineup vs. New Jersey.
The Blue Jackets have acquired Kyle Quincey from the Devils for Dalton Prout.
Quincey is an expiring contract at the end of the season so he gets added to a solid Columbus’ blueline, where he will likely serve as their sixth defenseman. He had 12 points (4G / 8A) in 53 games with the Devils this season.

The Devils are planing on moving Quincey at the deadline, so they will scratch him tonight to make sure he doesn’t get hurt. John Moore will replace him in the lineup and should skate with Damon Severson.

Who he replaces has not been confirmed by Jeff Blashill, but Marcheko seems like the likely candidate. Quincey has one goal and two assists in seven games.
