Antoine Vermette News
Center, Left Wing
The NHL has suspended Antoine Vermette for 10 games.
Vermette has been suspended for 10 games because of his slash on a linesman last night. Vermette took a chop at a linesman after a face-off and is not eligible to play until March 12th vs. the Capitals. Expect Jared Boll to be back in the lineup on Friday, unless the Ducks make a call-up.
The Ducks signed Antoine Vermette to a two-year deal worth $3.5 million ($1.75M AAV).
Vermette, 34, was bought out by the Coyotes a few weeks ago but has caught on with the Ducks for the next two seasons. Vermette is a solid two-way centre, who had 38 points (17G / 21A) in 76 games with Arizona. He will likely skate on the Ducks’ third line throughout the 2016-17 season.
Vermette (lower-body) will be a game-time decision.
Vermette has missed the last three games with a lower-body injury, but he took part i the gameday skate and is officially listed as a game-time decision for tonight’s contest in Los Angeles. Monitor his status in pre-game warmups.
Vermette (lower-body) will not play on Saturday.
Vermette will miss his second straight game and it will be the fifth game he’s missed in the last six. This lower-body injury continues to nag Vermette, so monitor his status heading into next week.
Veremette (lower-body) is questionable for Thursday's game.
Vermette returned to the lineup after a three-game absence and recorded two assists, but it appears as if he suffered a setback. Monitor his status during Thursday’s morning skate.
Vermette (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.
Vermette will miss his third consecutive game with a lower-body injury. With Vermette out, Tyler Gaudet will remain in the lineup. Monitor his status leading up to Friday’s game vs. the Canucks.
Vermette (lower-body) is "very questionable" for Tuesday's game.
Vermette missed Saturday’s game in Ottawa and missed this morning’s game day skate as well. He is listed as a game-time decision, but head coach Dave Tippet called him “very questionable”—so do not expect him to play.
Vermette (lower-body) will be a game-time decision on Saturday.
Vermette was injured in the Coyotes loss to the Rangers on Thursday. He missed Friday’s practice but took part in today’s morning skate. He will be a game-time decision, so monitor his status during pre-game warmups.
Vermette left Thursday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.
Vermette left halfway through Thursday’s game and is listed as day-to-day. Head coach Dave Tippett doesn’t think the injury is “too serious” so there’s a chance that he could be in the lineup on Saturday vs. Boston.
