The Blackhawks have acquired Adam Clendening and Anthony Duclair from the Coyotes for Richard Panik and Laurent Dauphin.

Clendening was originally drafted by the Blackhawks in 2011 and played with the until the start of the 2014-15 season. The 25-year-old has two points in five games with the Coyotes this season and has picked up five points (1G / 4A) in 21 AHL contests.

The Rangers have signed Adam Clendening to a one-year deal worth $600K.

Clendening, 23, split his time between the Penguins and Oilers organizations last year. He had one goal and six assists in 29 NHL games and three assists in six games with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL). He was signed to add some organizational depth to the Rangers blueline. He’ll be given a chance to crack the opening night roster in training camp, but will likely start in the AHL.

The Penguins have assigned Adam Clendening to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL) on a conditioning stint.

Clendening has been a healthy scratch in the last four games and with Kris Letang back in the lineup, he won’t see time any time soon. He heads to WBS to get some reps in. He has just one assist in nine games with the Penguins this season.
