McQuaid (lower-body) is listed as day-to-day.

McQuaid hasn't played since January 19, when he left the Bruins' shootout loss against the Blackhawks. He was termed day-to-day at the time, but the days have turned into over a month at this point. Since the team got back to work, McQuaid has been on the ice with his teammates. Taking proper caution, the team didn't want him skating during the break because they wanted to be able to monitor his progress. Skating for the third straight day, McQuaid said that he continues to progress. The Bruins' third-pairing blueliner has missed a combined 27 games this season due to multiple lower-body injuries, further building his reputation as something of an injury-prone player.

McQuaid (undisclosed) has left the game and will not return.

There was no further injury information, but McQuaid is out for the remainder of today's game. He missed nine games with a lower-body injury in December. The Bruins are already with Dennis Seidenberg and Dougie Hamilton on the blueline so losing McQuaid again would certainly test their depth.

McQuaid (lower-body) will travel with the Bruins to Detroit.

McQuaid has missed the last eight games after suffering a lower body injury on November 9 vs. Toronto. He continues to skate with the Bruins as he works his way back. He will travel to Detroit and could be in the lineup on Wednesday. McQuaid is a rugged defenseman who brings a lot of physicality to the Bruins blueline, but does not produce enough offensively to be fantasy relevant.

McQuaid (leg) skated this morning, but stayed on for extra work indicating he will not play tonight.

It will be the sixth straight game he has missed after being injured early in the first period on November 9. The Bruins will also be without Dennis Seidenberg, so Kevan Miller will make his NHL debut and Matt Bartowski will stay in the lineup.

The Bruins will be without Adam McQuaid (lower body) as they take on the Florida Panthers on Sunday afternoon.

McQuaid appeared to injure his leg when Matt Cooke delivered a low hip check to him in the third period in the neutral zone that Claude Julien termed a “cheap shot” after Saturday afternoon’s 3-2 loss to Pittsburgh at TD Garden. He's considered day to day.
