New York has acquired Aidan Thompson from Chicago for Derrick Pouliot.
Thompson was a third-round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft that has yet to play an NHL game. The 24-year-old forward scored 15 points (6G / 9A) in 40 games with the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) this season.
