Burmistrov (undisclosed) was released from hospital and traveled with the team to Buffalo.

Burmistrov was taken to the hospital after being hit by Bruins’ defenseman Colin Miller, but was released later that evening. Burmistrov traveled with the team, but they also recalled Anthony Duclair for the trip, which suggests that Burmistrov won’t play on Thursday.

Burmistrov will make his Coyotes debut on Monday.

Burmistrov was claimed back on January 2nd, but his Coyotes debut has been delayed by a visa issue. He’ll finally get into the lineup tonight and will skate on the second line with Jamie McGinn and Radim Vrbata on his wings. Burmistrov had just two assists in 23 games with the Jets before being waived.

Burmistrov is expected to draw into the lineup on Saturday.

Burmistrov was a healthy scratch in the Jets’ season opener on Thursday, but it looks like he will draw in on Saturday after it was announced that fellow centre, Bryan Little is out indefinitely with a lower-body injury. Burmistrov centred the third line with Shawn Matthias and Nikolaj Ehlers on his wing in Friday’s session. The 24-year-old had just 21 points (7G / 14A) in 81 games last year.

The extent of the injury is not known, but an IceCaps spokesman said Tuesday night that with a four-day break in the schedule before the club returns to the ice again Friday night in St. John's against Springfield, the team opted to have Burmistrov checked out by the Jets medical staff.

Not much to go on here but the budding Jets' star should be able to return soon.
