Philadelphia has signed Alex Ciernik to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Ciernik was a fourth-round pick of the Philadelphia Flyers that has spent most of the previous few seasons playing in Sweden. The 21-year-old German forward scored five points (2G / 3A) in 21 games with Nybro Vikings IF (Swe-1) this season.
