Dustin Jeffrey's deal may look like a bargain but his two way contract is likely guaranteeing him a spot on an NHL roster next season (Pittsburgh or elsewhere), assuming he's healthy, which the Penguins expect him to be.
Jeffrey showed some promise last season, scoring seven goals over 25 games. He could find himself on a scoring line with an elite center next season.
