The Canucks have recalled Alex Grenier from Utica (AHL).
Grenier is one of four players coming up from Utica because there are five Canucks believed to be dealing with mumps. Grenier has not recorded a point in six career NHL games, but has had a nice season in Utica, scoring 15 goals with 23 assists (38 points) in 51 games —that leads the team.

Grenier, 24, picked up 48 points (16G / 32A) in 69 games with Utica (AHL) last year, marking two years in a row he has eclipsed 40-points in the AHL. In six contests with the Canucks, the 6-foot-5 winger failed to get on the scoresheet.

Center Daymond Langkow, who left Tuesday’s game after getting hit in the face by a puck, is “available for selection” for tonight’s game, according to Tippett.
Langkow has seven goals and 19 points through 42 games. Expect him to play tonight on a scoring line.
