Defenseman Andy Greene is almost three weeks into his recovery from a non-displaced fracture in his toe. Lamoriello said Greene is scheduled to wear a boot on his foot for four weeks and then would begin the process of coming back.
The acquisition of Kurtis Foster certainly helped the Devils get over the big loss of Greene. The Trenton, Michigan native registered nine assists over 23 games and is at least a month away from returning.
Defenseman Andy Greene, who is out four weeks with a non-displaced fracture in his toe, has been placed on injured reserve rectroctive to his last game on Tuesday in Toronto.
Greene is expected to miss a few weeks so he won't return that quickly.
