Forsberg was the first goalie off the ice at Los Angeles' morning skate. Darcy Kuemper didn't see any playing time while representing Team Canada during their Silver Medal performance at the Olympics, but will still get some extra rest after several busy travel days, allowing Forsberg to tend the twine on Wednesday against the Vegas Golden Knights. The 33-year-old Forsberg allowed four goals on 22 shots (.818 SV%) in a 4-1 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in the Kings' final game before the Olympic break, but had been very impressive in the weeks leading up to that loss, helping his team record a point in five straight (3-0-2) while posting a solid 2.07 GAA and .933 SV%. The Kings enter Wednesday's contest as -141 home favourites.
