Lander had one goal and averaged just 6:57 TOI in four games during his call-up. Lander wasn’t great, but he’ll return to the AHL where he has an impressive 21 points (10G / 11A) in 13 games this year. His demotion might also be related to wanting him to play on a line with Jesse Puljujarvi, who was just recently sent down as well.

Ceci has missed the last six games with an upper-body injury, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Panthers. Ceci has eight points (3G / 5A) and a plus-2 rating in 33 games this season.


Ceci left Sunday’s game with an upper-body injury and his status for Tuesday’s game is up in the air. There was no update on Ceci’s status on Monday, so monitor his status on Tuesday morning.

Ceci was a healthy scratch on Tuesday, but will be back in the lineup on Thursday. Ceci has 14 points (3G / 11A) in 51 games this season.

Ceci had appeared in every game so far this season, but will be a healthy scratch tonight after posting a minus-4 rating in the last game. He was last scratched on March 30th, 2014.

Lander, 23, has recorded eight goals and 19 assists (27 points). His 27 points is tied for the OKC team lead and is tied for fifth in the AHL. He is expected to centre the third line with Tyler Pitlick and Nail Yakupov and get some work on the second PP unit on Sunday. He has eight points (2G / 6A) in 94 career NHL games.

Ceci was hit by a Shea Weber shot on Monday and left the game right away. He tweeted after the game that he only suffered a cut and was shaken, but is OK. The Senators don't play until Saturday, so monitor Ceci's status throughout the week.
