The Oilers have sent Anton Lander to Bakersfield (AHL).

Lander had one goal and averaged just 6:57 TOI in four games during his call-up. Lander wasn’t great, but he’ll return to the AHL where he has an impressive 21 points (10G / 11A) in 13 games this year. His demotion might also be related to wanting him to play on a line with Jesse Puljujarvi, who was just recently sent down as well.

Ceci is not at practice this morning after being cut on the ear on Monday.

Ceci was hit by a Shea Weber shot on Monday and left the game right away. He tweeted after the game that he only suffered a cut and was shaken, but is OK. The Senators don't play until Saturday, so monitor Ceci's status throughout the week.
