Slepyshev was a healthy scratch in seven of the last eight games but will play tonight, replacing the suspended Patrick Maroon vs. the Ducks. Slepyshev has just one goal and two assists in 16 games with the Oilers.

Slepyshev comes up to take Nathan Walker’s spot on the roster and returns with one goal and two assists (three points) in 15 games with the Oilers this season.



Slepyshev has missed the last eight games with a lower-body injury, but he is listed as “probable” for Sunday’s game in Boston. Slepyshev is expected to skate on a line with Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Patrick Maroon tonight and comes into play with two points (1G / 1A) in 10 games this season.

Slepyshev returned to the Oilers lineup on Thursday after a two-game absence, scoring a goal, but only lasted 10:27 TOI. He heads to the IR to create roster spot to recall Jesse Puljujarvi from Bakersfield (AHL).




Hill gave up five goals on 30 shots in the Coyotes loss to Dallas last Thursday. In his first two NHL starts, Hill has given up a combined seven goals on 63 shots (.889 SV%). Tonight he will try and give the Coyotes their first win of the season as he faces a Rangers team sitting at 2.50 goals for per game so far this year.

Slepyshev appeared in one game with the Condors during his conditioning stint and is expected to play Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Milan Lucic in his season debut. Slepyshev had four goals and six assists (10 points) in 41 games with the Oilers last season.

Slepyshev was out of the lineup for the last two games, but he will replace Khaira tonight vs. the Kings. Slepyshev has 10 points (4G / 6A) in 37 games this season.

Slepyshev, 22, has 10 points (3G / 7A) in nine games with Bakersfield this season. With Jesse Puljujarvi being sent down, Slepyshev returns to the Oilers, where he scored two goals with two assists in 15 games earlier this season.
