Kopitar was expected to miss 2-4 weeks when he first strained his knee.... Forget that! He only missed the Kings season opener. This is fantastic news for people who took Kopitar because you probably got him later than you should have because of the injury. Kopitar is a must-start in all formats.

Kopitar is skating in morning skate-all looks well!
As expected, nothing to worry about with regards to the Kings' #1 centre. Kopitar currently leads the team in scoring with 14 goals and 42 points in 46 games.
Kopitar’s absence has not been explained yet, but it’s likely a “maintenance day,” particularly given the number of big hits Kopitar has taken of late. The fact that Kevin Westgarth is practicing with the first line suggests that Kopitar will be back tomorrow.
Doesn't sound like something to worry about yet. Kopitar hasn't missed any playing time since taking a big hit from Brendan Morrow.

Darryl Sutter’s only update on Anze Kopitar was that Kopitar “will probably be fine. He’s got a bloody nose.” Kopitar took a huge hit, in the upper chest/shoulder area, from Dallas’ Brenden Morrow with less than eight minutes remaining in the third period and did not return.
Losing Kopitar for a long amount of time would be a big blow to fantasy hockey owners and the Kings. The dreaded C word has yet to be used to describe his ailments which should be considered a good thing.

Kopitar has been on a tear to start the season. At this point he should be considered an elite center across all fantasy hockey formats.

Kopitar has three goals and four points over his first two games, dominating his opposition. At this rate, he could fully break out into the elite and possibly top 100 points.

Kopitar is flanked by 22 goals by Williams and 23 goals from Penner not to mention likely having Drew Doughty on the five man unit. Expect around 30 goals and 80 points on the season as he enjoys some alleviated pressure from second line center Mike Richards.
"The only worry I had was whether I could get into the right shape," Kopitar said, "the right conditioning that I'm supposed to be in and that I want to be in. It turned out good. Once I got the walking boot off and I could walk on my own, I just started doing a lot of rehab work, getting my ankle stronger. Next thing you know, I was running already."
Certainly sounds like Kopitar is fully healthy. The Slovenian pivot scored 25 goals and 73 points last season. Feel free to draft him as early as the first or second round.
