Domi returned to the ice on Monday.

Domi sat out the first week of Phase 3 while deciding whether or not he will play in the Qualifying Round. Domi is at an increased risk as a Type-1 diabetic, so he took extra time to make his decision on the NHL's Return to Play program. During his first practice with the team, Domi took part in some drills and was featured on the second power-play unit.

The Canadiens acquired Max Domi from Arizona and signed him to a two-year contract worth $6.3 million ($3.15M AAV).

Domi was acquired from the Coyotes in a straight-up trade for Alex Galchenyuk. Domi was selected No.12 overall in 2013 and has yet to fully live up to expectations after a great rookie season—18 goals and 34 assists in 81 games. Since then he has scored just 18 goals with 65 assists (83 points) in 141 games. Domi brings some physicality along with great playmaking ability to the left-side of the Canadiens’ lineup, where he figures to slot in behind Max Pacioretty.

Domi (hand) returned to practice on Wednesday; could play as soon as Thursday.

Domi has missed the last 23 games after undergoing surgery on his hand. Domi was a full participant in Wednesday’s practice and the Coyotes didn’t rule out a possible return on Thursday. Monitor his status during tomorrow’s morning skate.

Domi (hand) has been upgraded to day-to-day; expected to skate with the team on Tuesday.

Domi skated by himself for 30 minutes on Monday and is expected to join his team on the ice tomorrow. Domi has been sidelined since December 8th and the Coyotes are confident that he will return to the lineup within two weeks.

The Blackhawks have signed Artemi Panarin to a two-year contract extension worth $12 millions ($6.0M AAV).

The Blackhawks have a tough salary-cap situation, which is why they couldn’t give more term to Panarin. The young Russian winger has picked up 15 goals and 22 assists (37 points) in 37 games this season and has 114 points (45G / 69A) in 117 career NHL games.

Domi is week-to-week with an upper-body injury; has been placed on IR.

Domi was hurt in Thursday’s game vs. the Flames and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks with an upper-body injury. With Domi on IR, the Coyotes will have an even more difficult time finding offence. They have recalled Laurent Dauphin to take his spot on the roster.
