Bennett (lower-body) is on the ice for the Penguins morning skate.

Bennett has not played yet this season because of a lower-body injury he suffered in training camp. He has had some brutal luck with injuries over the last three years, but his availability for the morning skate is a good sign that he is nearing his season debut. With Blake Comeau currently playing in the Penguins' top-6, Bennett seems destined for a top-6 role when he is healthy.

Bennett was injured when he fell awkwardly during a drill at Penguins' practice this morning. Bennett has had a difficult time staying healthy in his career, which has limited his fantasy value. He will be evaluated on Saturday where a further update should be available.

Bennett has been sidelined since November 22nd with what he called a "fluky" wrist injury. With Marcel Goc out for three weeks, Bennett will slide right into the lineup. He will play with Jussi Jokinen and James Neal on the Penguins second line. Expect him to see ample power-play time as well.

The Penguins have recalled Beau Bennett from his conditioning assignment with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (AHL).

Bennett had one assist in three games with the 'Baby Penguins' but he reportedly played very well despite the small statistical numbers. Bennett has not played since November 22 because of a wrist injury. He has one goal and two assists in 12 games with Pittsburgh this season.

Bennett has been skating with the Penguins lately, but will need some AHL game action before returning to the Penguins lineup. Bennett has missed four months with a wrist injury that he called "fluky". Expect Bennett to play two or three games with the Baby Penguins.

The Penguins announced on Sunday that Bennett would be a full participant on Monday. He has not played since November 22 because of a wrist injury. There is no word on when they expect to have Bennett back in the lineup, but this is a step in the right direction.

Bennett has been out since November 22 and will remain out until at least mid-March. He is a candidate to play on the Sidney Crosby, Chris Kunitz line with Pascal Dupuis out for the rest of the season, but that will have to wait.

Penguins winger Beau Bennett will miss the next eight to 10 weeks after having surgery on his broken wrist/hand in Pittsburgh on Monday.

Bennett, who was injured Friday against the Islanders. In his absence the Penguins recalled Zach Sill and Andrew Ebbett from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton.

Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said that Bennett's injury is more than day-to-day. It remains an undisclosed injury, but we should get a more detailed report in the new week. In his absence Matt D'Agostini rejoins the lineup.

Bennett has not registered a point in four games since returning from a lower-body injury. He has two assists in nine total games this season. Skating with Crosby and Kunitz should help Bennett get things going offensively.

Bennett has been practicing all week so it seems very likely that he will return on Saturday. Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said that Bennett will likely return on the third line, but with James Neal not coming back until next week - Bennett could play with Evgeni Malkin and Jussi Jokinen on Saturday.

Bennett has missed the last 10 games with a lower-body injury. He started to practice last week, but with the Penguins back-to-back on Friday and Saturday he was unable to skate with the team. Consider him questionable for Wednesday's matchup with the Rangers. Keep in mind Penguins head coach Dan Bylsma said Bennett would likely skate on the third line when he returns.

All preseason Bennett had growing hype because there were reports he would start the season with Evgeni Malkin and James Neal. While his re-assignment looks like a paper transaction, it appears as if Jussi Jokinen has slid in with Malkin and Neal instead of Bennett.
