Lovejoy and Strait are skating, in 2-4 week range
When Lovejoy returns, he will add some depth to a wounded Pens blue line. The Canaan, New Hampshire native has an assist through 13 games.

With Lovejoy out, expect to see a few players tryout for the team. The leading candidates appear to be Robert Bortuzzo and Alexandre Picard but we may see Brian Streit as well.

Lovejoy claimed to be fine after the incident, helping the Pens avoid yet another injury. He holds no fantasy hockey value as a depth defenseman with no PP time.

With seven players signed to a one-way contract, the Pens will hold a competitive training camp. Factor in the newly-signed Alexandre Picard and Lovejoy will need to earn his playing time.
