Trevor Lewis News

Lewis was banged up on a hit by Jared McCann last night and is questionable for tonight’s game. Head coach John Stevens said he though Lewis was going to be OK, but he is still questionable for Saturday.

Lewis, 29, had eight goals and eight assists (16 points) in 75 games with the Kings last season. He has spent the first eight years of his NHL career with the Kings after being drafted 17th overall in 2006. He has 89 points (35G / 54A) in 424 career NHL games.

Kozun was just sent down, but has already been brought back up because Phil Kessel is not skating for a second straight day and Nazem Kadri missed practice today because of an illness.

Kozun had one goal in 5:20 TOI on Friday night in Carolina. With Joffrey Lupul back, Kozun heads back to the Marlies.

Kozun, 24, has one assist in six games with the Maple Leafs this season. While in the AHL, Kozun has registered 11 points (5G / 6A) in 23 games.

Kozun played in just one contest after returning from a high ankle sprain. He will head to the AHL where he has one goal on three games with the Marlies.

Kozun, 24, had one assist in five game with the Maple Leafs this season. He has not played since October 17th because of a high-ankle sprain. He had one goal in three games with the Marlies during his conditioning stint.

Kozun has been out since October 17th with a high ankle sprain. The 24-year-old forward will likely play with the Marlies over the weekend before returning to Toronto next week. He has one assist in five games.

Lewis is on the ice for Kings' practice this afternoon, but is not taking part in line rushes so he will miss his seventh consecutive game with the upper-body injury he suffered in the season opener.

Kozun injured his ankle on a scary looking collision with the end-boards in Friday's loss to the Red Wings. The young forward had been playing well for the Maple Leafs, especially on the penalty kill. This opens the door for Matt Frattin or Ashton Carter to cut out a larger role.

Kozun injured his ankle when he crashed into the end-boards on Friday vs. the Red Wings. He had an MRI on the ankle on Saturday, but there is no word on the extent of the injury. The Maple Leafs are fearing that it might be a high-ankle sprain. Matt Frattin will play in Kozun's spot.

Lewis has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury and has yet to resume skating. The retroactive move means Lewis can play whenever he returns to full health, but for now he goes on IR to allow the Kings to recall a forward after finding out Marian Gaborik is out on Tuesday.

Lewis missed Friday's practice with an upper-body injury and will not play on Saturday and is questionable for Sunday's game against Winnipeg. With Lewis out, expect Jordan Nolan to enter the lineup.

Kozun was the 179th overall pick in 2009. He has 29 points (10G / 19A) in 43 games with Manchester this season. He has never played an NHL game.

Lewis has missed the last nine games with a lower-body injury and appears to be in vs. the Senators. Expect him to centre the fourth line.
