Fresh off a career season which saw him post highs in goals (8), assists (32), points (40), PIMs (63), PPP (13) and SOG (159), Brandt Clark has signed a five-year deal worth $7.4M AAV ($37.0M total) with Los Angeles. The 23-year-old was Los Angeles' 2021 1st round pick (8th overall) and is entering his third full season with the Kings. He is expected to run their top powerplay unit and improve on his 19:48 TOI from 2025-26 next season.

Clarke has been a healthy scratch for Los Angeles' previous two games but will draw back in the lineup for Kyle Burroughs on Wednesday vs. St. Louis. The 22-year-old has been snake-bitten as of late, as he has gone six games without a point but still has four goals and 25 points in 55 games played this year.

Clarke is presumably not battling any sort of injury and is simply a healthy scratch to make way for Drew Doughty's long anticipated season debut. The 21-year-old Clarke has three goals and 21 assists in 47 games this season.

Clarke is on the ice for warmups as the extra defenseman but took part in power-play rushes in this morning's skate, indicating the Kings plan on dressing seven defensemen tonight. Clarke has one goal and four assists in 12 games this season.

Clarke will take the place of Jordan Spence, who is listed as a scratch on Thursday. Clarke is expected to skate alongside Andreas Englund on the team's third defensive pair.

Clarke played three games in a row towards the end of January, his longest stretch of the season, but has been out of the lineup since January 26th. In six games this season, Clarke has one point (0G / 1A) while averaging 16:15 time-on-ice.

Clarke will fill in for Matt Roy, who will get Monday's game off after his wife gave birth to their first child earlier in the day. Clarke is yet to register a point in three games with the Kings this season.

The Kings will continue their lineup rotation between Clarke and Jordan Spence on Thursday. Clarke played a season-high 17:01 in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Dallas Stars and registered one shot on goal.

Clarke will re-enter the lineup after sitting out Monday's game in Carolina. He is yet to get on the scoresheet in two NHL games this season.

Clarke will watch the game from the press box as a healthy scratch, allowing Jordan Spence to draw back into the lineup. The 20-year-old Clarke has played two games this season, both this month, recording two shots, one hit, and one block while averaging 14:32 time-on-ice.
