Gallagher has been sidelined since November 22nd after breaking two fingers while blocking a shot. Gallagher had 19 points (9G / 10A) in 22 games before getting hurt, so his return to the lineup is huge for the Canadiens’ offence. Gallagher will skate on the top line with Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty.

#Habs Brendan Gallagher (concussion) skated today but is yet to be cleared for contact by the team doctors; he will not play tonight vs. NYI

Once Gallagher gets cleared for contact it won't be long before he is back in the Canadiens lineup. The Habs are first in the East right now and will only get better with the return on Gallagher who has 8 points and is a +7 in 13 games this season.
